The Currant

The Currant is a small independent business serving up some of our favourite coffee. Which of course go great with their homemade cakes supplied by Heron Nest Cakes.
They are dog friendly too so you'll often find some super cute dogs if you time your trip right.
Alongside what you can enjoy there, they are doing their bit to use less plastic and phasing out single-use plastic water bottles in favour of these beautiful resealable, recyclable cans by CanO Water
Time for Tea
5 Station Parade High Street, Wanstead London, E11 1QF
Venture a little further down the high st towards Snaresbrook and you'll find an amazing vintage tea room. If great tea is what you're after as you tap away on your laptop, you'll enjoy a pot of their highly acclaimed Taylors Of Harrogate range of loose leaf teas.
They specialise in afternoon tea so makes a great place for a work catch up or meeting. You may even bump into the queen whilst you're there...
It's definitely hard to turn down one of their homemade cakes as you work. Here are some that we've had in the past. Their bread & butter pudding is some of the best I've had!
The Duke

Ask us where we are on a Tuesday morning, and it will probably be at The Duke.
Every Tuesday from 10-11:30am they run a co-working breakfast which is a great opportunity to network with some other local businesses. If you're ever there, don't be shy and say hi to us :)
There's no need to book. Just show up, grab a drink and enjoy a free breakfast.
